Something new

About six months ago, my daughter ran a little campaign on her blog, trying to convince me to begin a blog too. I was interested but reluctant. Lots of encouraging comments from her followers still wasn't enough to overcome the hesitation. "What could I possibly blog about," I wondered. At the time my crafting was in a bit of a slump and my goal for the year of finishing UFOs and diminishing my stash was definitely on the back burner; way, way back!

Anyway, new year, new goals and here I am!

So, for 2011 I hope to

  • rekindle the crafting flame
  • sort out my stash (it would take another lifetime to use it all up)
  • stop wanting to try every craft under the sun (another lifetime needed)
  • work on the garden
  • etc etc etc.....

  3. Hallo Carolyn, welcome in blogland. I started blogging in June 2010 and this saved my life in the many difficult moments I had in the second half of the year (mmmmm, could the two facts be related?!?).
Point 2 and 3 of your resolutions list find me in agreement, but I can not promise that I will succeed in following them. Come and visit me.
    Good luck, all the best.

  4. Nice to meet you Carolyn. Welcome to blog-land. You'll like it here....everyone is so nice and very encouraging. You don't have to blog about anything too exciting. Just day to day stuff - your craft, you home, your dreams, your life. Look forward to getting to know you. Warm wishes, Anita. xxx
